Since there is trees and forests, the logging and related industries such as paper industries are the major industries in this ecozone. Logging industries have changed the landscape of this ecozone. The logging industries and paper industries started to cut the trees down for their purposes, so they have cut about 2 million hectares of the rainforest. Forestry industries in pacific maritime ecozone 

Fishing industries in Pacific Maritime ecozone 

In the Pacific Maritime Ecozone most of south is heavily stressed by population growth, urban development, and the forestry. The human population in this Ecozone is about 3,027,206.The main urban areas in this ecozone are Vancouver, Victoria and Prince Rupert. There are many places that you could visit in this Ecozone. Mountains, Kootenay National Park, and the hot springs are some of the places where you could visit. They also have resorts and beaches where you could stay and enjoy your vacation.

 

The commercial fishing industry is another major industry in this ecozone, coastal communities are mostly  fishers. This ecozone has more fishing miles than any other place in this world. Salmon stocks used to be pricy but due to the overfishing now the prices are low. The overfishing damaged the habitat for the fish and other species under the sea. This ecozone has other countless species of fish.
