The Pacific Maritime Ecozone is located in the west coast of Canada. This ecozone spreads out from the Southern border of Canada along the west coast of British Columbia, throughout the west coast of Yukon and to the some parts of the Alaskan Panhandle. Also the Physical Landform Region that the Pacific Maritime Ecozone is located in the Western Cordillera.

The Pacific Maritime Ecozone is made of several different landforms due to its area of 196,200km2 , which give this ecozone it’s attribute and beauty. The largest landform that covers the Pacific Maritime is the Coast Mountains. These Mountains are really steep and rugged due to the fact that they are very young. On the top of the mountains you can find ice sheets and glaciers because the mountains are around 1,600km long and 200km wide. This means that they stretch from the coast of British Columbia to some parts of the Alaskan Panhandle.
Another major landform that can be found in this ecozone is the Fjord. A Fjord is a long and narrow inlet, created by glacier erosion. There are many fjords found in British Columbia, that are 190km inland and 2,000m deep, making them one of the largest/deepest in the whole world! There are many other minor Landforms like beaches along the coastline, glaciers on the Northern Coast, Hot Spots etc.
The landform region that the Pacific Maritime Ecozone is located in is the Western Cordillera. The Western Cordillera is the landform region located on the west coast of Canada. It consists of mountains separated by valleys and Plateaus. The Pacific Maritime Ecozone is located within this landform region which means all the other ecozones within this landform region will have similar features.
